Regarding our traditional cakes, we work with a variety of styles and flavors. All of our orders are based on what our customers want. Most of our cakes are made with the recipe of the famous Puerto Rican cakes. These are the moist cakes. They can be flavored with practically anything, but I want to mention that among the most popular flavors we find:

vanilla

almond

amaretto

almond and amaretto

rum

pina colada

among others.

This doesn't mean that they are the only ones we work with.

Remember, we also have our vegan, avoiding gluten and sugar-free cakes!

The variety of gluten-free cake flavors is not so wide, but it is tasty. You and your guests will be able to try a quality cake.

We want to emphasize that we keep trying new recipes to expand our offer, but if you want to know about a particular flavor, do not hesitate to contact us.

These products are made in the same kitchen where we work with the other products with ingredients that contain gluten. Although we clean and disinfect all our equipment very carefully, there may be a risk of cross contamination because gluten can be everywhere

These vegan biscuits not only work for those who follow that lifestyle, but also work for vegetarians or those with allergies to eggs or milk.

These products are made in the same kitchen where we work with other ingredients of animal origin. Although we clean and disinfect all our equipment very carefully, there may be a risk of cross contamination.

The prices of our cakes vary according to several factors. Among them, size, details, decoration, complexity, among others. We are working on having an established line so that we can automatically place orders in our store. In the meantime, I can let you know that prices start at $55 for a 10-serving cake and personalized ("custom") cakes start at $100. 

We do deliver. Also, we currently offer 8 miles as a courtesy. This does not mean that we do not reach other areas, it just carries an additional charge of $2.00 per extra mile. These are calculated before placing the order and using the google maps GPS system. Toll charges will also be added.

It is important to mention that there are some cakes that are recommended for delivery due to safety, while others require it because they have to be transported disassembled and assembled at the event location, but sometimes this price is not included in the price of the cake.

If you choose not to use the delivery service once it is recommended, Cakes Pastries & More nor Laura Figueroa is responsible for it once the cake is picked up.

We do not have a set policy regarding this because orders and schedules are very varied. However, it is recommended that as soon as you know that you are going to have an activity and you want us to be part of it, you contact us at the time you have the date. This way we can verify our availability and begin the order process. Sometimes we can accept contracts just 48 hours before your event, but in many other cases we have a full schedule one or two months in advance.

Remember that our orders are made especially for you and although we want to please everyone, there are time and space limitations.

Having requested a quote does not mean that your order is guaranteed and placed on our work schedule.

De escoger nuestros servicios durante los 7 días próximos a la consulta de sabor se le acreditará el monto total pagado para la mismo a su orden final!

The quote is valid for the next 7 days. Sometimes when it is re-evaluated it does not change, but it is not guaranteed.

To place the order you can go directly to our store. If it is a personalized order that is made directly with our team, you will receive an invoice with all the details of the order and a minimum deposit of 50% of the total is required. This deposit is not refundable under any circumstances since that space was reserved for you.

Once you make the payment, your order is added to our work schedule and we have a contract.

You will receive an invoice to your email address with the remaining payment and it must be paid before the date mentioned and established. It can be from 7 to 2 days before your event. If your balance is not paid in full, your order may not be completed and you may lose your deposit.

Please remember that orders are made to the specifications you requested. If you need to cancel, it must be done at least 10 days before the date of your event. At that time, the staff will proceed to cancel the order and you will not have to pay the remaining amount of the contract. Always remember that the deposit is not refundable because some expenses have already been incurred. If the order was paid in full, the amount of money equivalent to the excess of 50% of the total will be returned to you. I want to remind you that it is important for you to think that once we have an order on our agenda, it already takes up part of our time and it may be that we have refused to accept other orders because we did not have the capacity.

On the contrary, if the cancellation was made within the days before your event, the contract must be paid in full and if the order has already been paid, the money will not be returned.
