Laura Figueroa

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is the youngest of three children. She enjoys an immense passion for business. She studied Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico, followed by different technical courses in the beauty industry. At the age of 22, she opened her first beauty salon, as well as being a nail technician teacher at a non-profit organization.

While in Central Florida, she formalized her education as a Pastry Chef, in addition to that, she studied hotel and restaurant management. While also serving as a "sugar angel" for the non-profit organization, Icing Smiles. In addition to all this, she teaches private seminars in many areas of our baking industry. We point out Laura Figueroa as the past director and sponsor of the competition for sugar artists called Master Cake The Challenge held in March 2023.

Ever since she chose hospitality as her profession, she has not stopped challenging herself and creating to be prepared today and to be able to please the most demanding customer and palate.

Because everyone deserves to be able to enjoy a quality dessert!
